 On Thursday, February 12, 2009, Bellingham’s Fairhaven District is enjoying a beautiful, serene bay view and clear, crisp, cold weather. So if you have some time, stop along the Boulevard to the south side, relax, eat your lunch and just enjoy the scene before you! 
Do you KNOW…that there are 4,000 to 6,000 animal shelters in the United States and most of these are non-profit? There are approximately 4 million animals that find themselves in shelters every year and, of these, only 50 percent get homes and 25 percent are pure breds! The leading reason for dogs being there: their owners have moved.

 So all you animal lovers…how about giving a loving home to a needy pet?
